Benico, Ltd. offers professional third party COBRA
and HIPAA administration which includes the following services:
- Receipt of completed Notice of Qualifying Event (NQE) form
from client by fax/mail
- Upon receipt of NQE form, we issue a Certificate of Creditable
Coverage pursuant to provisions of the HIPAA law
- A subsequent Certificate of Creditable Coverage is issued
at the end of the participant's 60-day enrollment eligibility
period irrespective of enrollment decision
- Generation of COBRA Qualifying Event Notices to prospective
COBRA beneficiary (such notices are sent via a certificate of
mailing as proof that the notices are sent)
- Tracking of time frame from the time of notice to point of
enrollment or expiration of the COBRA offer period
- Receive and keep account of premium payments which are reimbursed
to the client company/organization. Weekly client reimbursement
reports are generated
- Subsequent notices are sent on account of late/overdue premiums,
cancellation of coverage on account of the non-payment of premiums,
end of eligibility period, etc.
