Health care reform is being talked about as "when" not "if." While that is still speculation, there are proposals, initiatives and guidelines moving forward in Congress. We've already seen some health care changes this year resulting from the passage of CHIPRA 2009 and ARRA 2009 (COBRA subsidy).

On Tuesday, June 23rd John Garven, President of Benico, Ltd., presented a speech at an employee benefits industry conference on the subject of “Health Reform at the Federal Level”.  He also participated in a panel discussion on this same subject with Tom Wiffler, President and CEO, UnitedHealthcare of Illinois.
